SQUIGG FOR YOUR TEAM / ELECTRICAL
Electrical work, with the asset record beside it.
For businesses inspecting and maintaining electrical assets on customer sites. Keep the check, finding, evidence and later maintenance visit under the same asset reference.

Illustrative Squigg records. All example details are fictional.
Give the panel a reference that survives the visit.
A customer site can contain several distribution boards and other electrical assets. A photo alone may not explain which enclosure the engineer inspected or where it was located. Squigg keeps the site, asset reference and location around the recorded work.
Use the checks appropriate to your scope. Record the outcome and add comments and photographs to the relevant check. When an asset cannot be accessed, record No Access at asset level rather than implying a complete inspection took place.
From a damaged enclosure to the return visit.
The fictional EL-014 example records a failed visual-condition check because the enclosure cover is damaged. The finding and two photo records stay with that check, and the remedial item describes the replacement required.
A later maintenance visit needs that starting context: which asset, what was found and what needs attention. Record the work carried out and its outcome against the asset, then retain the completed visit in its history.
- Inspect the identified asset
- Attach the evidence to the finding
- Record the remedial work or return visit
- Produce the customer’s work record
General work records, not a certification claim.
Electrical inspection searches can mean very different things, from maintenance records to specialist certification software. Squigg’s verified capability here is the connected inspection, evidence, remedial-work and reporting workflow.
This page does not claim EICR forms, test-instrument integrations, Safe Electric certification or automated interpretation of wiring rules. Confirm your required checks and document formats before adopting any system for a specialist certification process.
Useful details before you choose.
Can we keep photographs with the right panel or asset?
Inspection comments and photos are attached to the relevant check within the identified asset’s inspection.
Does Squigg generate electrical certificates?
Specialist electrical certification is not claimed. The current capability is professional reporting from recorded inspections and maintenance work.
