SQUIGG FOR YOUR TEAM / HVAC & MECHANICAL

The plant changes. Its work history stays connected.

For engineers inspecting and maintaining plant, ventilation and mechanical assets. Keep inspection findings and subsequent work around the equipment at the customer’s site.

Illustrative asset history · fictional demo data

Illustrative Squigg records. All example details are fictional.

Start with the equipment you are attending.

The previous visit is useful only if it can be found against the right asset. Squigg keeps customer sites, asset references and locations around inspections and recorded work, so the engineer can review the record for the equipment in front of them.

Reusable checks support structured recording on site. Record check outcomes, findings and photo evidence together rather than leaving the inspection in a notebook and the photographs in a separate phone album.

A worn belt becomes a connected return visit.

The fictional AHU-023 example begins with an inspection recording a worn drive belt. A follow-up records replacement, restarting the unit and checking operation. The completed work and Fixed outcome are kept with the original asset history.

If another problem is reported later, the earlier inspection and follow-up provide context. The new call-out can record the reported problem, findings, work carried out and outcome without starting an unrelated asset record.

  • Asset inspection with findings and evidence
  • Linked remedial work and follow-up outcomes
  • Reactive work against the asset
  • Works-completed reporting for the customer

Be clear about the scope of the software.

This workflow is about inspection and maintenance records. It does not advertise F-Gas registers, refrigerant calculations, automated service intervals, dispatch, stock management or predictive maintenance.

Your business decides which checks are needed and which specialised records must be maintained. Squigg’s broad asset approach should be assessed against those requirements, rather than assumed to replace a regulatory workflow.

Useful details before you choose.

Can the record include both a routine inspection and a call-out?

The asset history connects inspections and completed follow-up or targeted work, including newly reported problems recorded against the asset.

Does Squigg schedule servicing or manage refrigerants?

Automatic scheduling and refrigerant management are not advertised. The supported story is recorded inspections, findings, remedial work, history and reports.
